VT100 displays operate on a super set of the VT100 command set making them very easy to use. They have built in fonts and can draw lines and circles.

This controller is designed for the 128x64 graphic displays, adobe reader icon Datasheet. This is a serial controller that uses 0-5V serial signals and will respond to VT100 escape codes for controlling the display (clearing the screen, drawing lines etc.). It is designed for the ByVac display but should work with most KS0108B controllers. Check the datasheet to see that it matches your display before purchasing.

This display works on a serial interface, whatever is typed into the serial input appears on the screen, to control the display, clear the screen etc. VT100 escape codes are used.
